BUCKTOwN.

WORLD-ClASS DINING

Historical homes.

Oh, and goats.

Bucktown is one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in all of Chicago.

Ask anyone who lives here, and they’ll tell you it’s a special place. You’re walking distance to incredible restaurants. It’s full of historic architecture and charm. And there’s always something happening - whether it’s a street festival, a garden walk or a front porch jam session.Originally a prairie where Polish Immigrants raised goats, Bucktown - as it came to be known because of the aforementioned goats -  has changed a lot over the years. But the one thing that’s always remained constant is the incredible people who call this neighborhood home.

WHAT TO DO, WHO TO SEE.

WHERE TO GO.

606 Trail

The Leavitt Street is a ¼ mile from the entrance to The 606. What was an abandoned rail line is now The 606. It’s 2.7 miles of multi-use recreational trail and park and an alternative transportation corridor, a living work of art and a spectacular green space for all to enjoy.

Bucktown & Wicker Park

Sophisticated and historic, the neighborhood boasts an eclectic mix of old and new. Visitors enjoy a wide spectrum of offerings from high-end restaurants to taco stands, fashion boutiques to vintage shops, music clubs to art galleries and so much more.

Logan Square

Logan Square, the next neighborhood west is a thriving community of artists, musicians, and indie spirit.

Take a stroll down stately Logan Boulevard, which is lined with regal limestone homes and anchored by the soaring Illinois Centennial Monument, designed by the same architect who created the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.

Just a few steps away, you’ll find historic Logan Theatre. This vintage movie house opened in 1915 and has been revamped to include a cozy bar and lounge. For a taste of Logan Square nightlife, take your pick from trend-setting cocktail bars, under-the-radar venues with local bands, and burgeoning breweries and distilleries. Among the neighborhood’s unique eateries you’ll find Michelin-rated spots, funky noodle shops, pizza places with cult followings, and unexpected fusion concepts. Hip coffee houses, minimalist boutiques, and a Sunday Farmers Market (held throughout the year) round out the Logan Square experience.
